Pacific Rim - Dave - 07-17-2013 Awesome. Sheer awesome. Man of Steel can suck Kaiju balls. :p Pacific Rim - cobalt - 07-17-2013 We're going tonight....I can't wait! Pacific Rim - fpw - 07-18-2013 I won't get to see it till next week. Looking for an IMAX Pacific Rim - cobalt - 07-18-2013 It was awesome!!!!! It was robots, anime and monsters...oh my! 2 hours of nonstop action. I'm a girl....and I loved it. Stay for the first part of the credits....great song and a little extra. Pacific Rim - Sigokat - 07-18-2013 Looks cool. Reminds me of the old Mechwarrior games. But the real question is, are there kitten mittens in the movie? Pacific Rim - Peter - 07-22-2013 I WANT to see this in 3D on a big screen. So, it opened in Exeter last Friday, couldn't make it over the weekend so I was thinking next Sunday afternoon/evening. Nope, it's due to close Thursday and there is no way I can get there before then! Sigh, the downside of living out here I suppose, but I did think they would run it for a couple of weeks. When does the BluRay come out? Second best but going to have to do! Pacific Rim - johntfs - 07-22-2013 It was pretty good, if more impersonal than a lot of Del Toro's movies. I kind of wish the Kaiju and their goals had been a little better developed. I also wish the Drifting had been more explored. Really, this movie felt a lot like a sequel to a movie that was never made. Also there were a few bits in there were the only answer to "Well, why don't they just do this?" was "Because otherwise there wouldn't be a movie." Pacific Rim - Scott Hajek - 07-23-2013 The movie was incredible! Sure, some of the reviews mention it's cliched, but the action and the spectacle make it fresh. It was one of a few movies that I wanted to see again right away and I had no sense of time passing at all. I saw it on an Ultrascreen in 3D and was impressed. Though, if I do see it again, I'm going to sit near the front of the theater to make the Kaiju seem even bigger. If you do see it in IMAX, make sure it's not a "Lie-MAX" screen. Pacific Rim - Tony H - 07-24-2013 By Lie-Max, do you mean smaller screens that do not meet the IMAX standards for ratio, or do you mean theaters that have knock-off IMAX projectors and screens but show IMAX prints? |
