Poor jack, if he hadn't saved the world with Glaeken a few years ago, 2013 would suck heavily for him. Did anyone see the story on the news in te last few days where this guy punched a person in the subway and stole his phone? Every single angle of his face was caught by the cameras in the subway station and he was tracked down within a day, and he's homeless on top of that. What would have happened when jack popped that guy I'm hosts ? They for sure would have reviewed all the footage from the day and given him much more hell than he needed!

One of the reasons I'm ending the series.

OTOH, I'm writing the Early Years trilogy in the early 90s and you can't imagine what a pain it is to keep in contact without cellphones. When someone leaves the house, they're incommunicado.

Yes the research aspect of that time frame in NYC is probably super tough but it is awesome that you got a lot of your info from a YouTube video I think you said. Good thing jack wasnt super busy with business in the early years because it really is crazy to get in contact with someone when a cell isnt available. I recently saw the movie The Call and I immediately thought of jack when the police could not track the car the girl was kidnapped in because she was calling from a trac phone!

Have to say that I'm very grateful to the series for getting me acquainted a little bit with guns. I'm a medical transcriptionist, and one of my docs dictated that their patient was shot with a Glock. Thanks to Jack and FPW, I know what that is!

Like the Gary Moore song, it's like "walking across miles and miles of broken glass" to maintain any semblance of personal privacy any more.... have the RFID trackers been woven into dollar bills yet or is that still pending?
