In my mid-to late teens, I used to hang with pro photograper John Manno. And a cousin of his was "connected", as they say. The Boss, Mr. Tony, took a liking to me. He said, "Mikey, anybody ever gives you hassle, you come to me. I'll take care of things for you."
Well, it never came to that, fortunately.
But I bet it would have been interesting.
