Funny eBay listing for IMPLANT - Damin J. Toell - 08-21-2010

Came across this eBay listing for IMPLANT that keeps cracking me up: http://cgi.ebay.com/Implant-F-Paul-Wilson-ignore-first-part-synopsis-/310243308908?pt=US_Fiction_Books

First, the subtitle of the item is: "Gina finds more than one type implant in dr.'s arsenal"

Then, the synopsis that Muze provides from their database is: "A wombat records its daily activities in its diary, but most of its entries simply describe its eating and sleeping habits. The wombat's life (and diary entries) get more interesting when it strikes up a friendship with some newly arrived human neighbors. Illustrated with acrylic paintings."

(Apparently, this is Muze's fault; I've found other eBay listings that have it.)

Lastly, the seller's description says: "There are no wombats in this book. The first part of the synopsis is idiotic."

Anyway, the listing just keeps cracking me up. Enjoy.

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED! There are so very few books about wombats! As a wombatologist, I was looking for serious books about wombatology to add to my collection.
Alas, my quest must go on. Sad
