A while back I read the account of FPWs visit to the set of Pelts, but never saw it when it was released.
A couple days ago I came across a copy of the Masters of Horror episode on DVD and picked it up. I just now finished watching it. As usual when it comes to adaptations, I'm curious about deviations from FPW's original story.
Anyway, it was an enjoyable story, if rather gory. That, of course, is not at all surprising, considering the Dario Argento was the director. It had a rather humorous ending, too. I was amused most of all by all the "squishy" sounds.
Has anyone else seen it?
Mr FPW: what did you think of the adaptation?
(If you're wondering how I can call extreme gore like this "humorous" and "enjoyable", I guess I've been desensitized to this stuff. Perhaps age doesn't have much to do with it, but as an almost 40-something, squeamish doesn't come easily to me).

Yes, I've seen it when Pelts first aired on Showtime. Loved it, yet I did glance away the first time I watched, at one scene at the end of the story. I still have my copy to enjoy, yet Showtime on demand still has it listed in my area.
