Normally I would have snatched it up immediately, but with Harbingers I graduated to the hardbacks. I'll be pre-ordering my copy of Bloodlines here in a few moments trying to push you up on the bestseller list. FYI: HARBINGERS paperback - Silverfish - 09-01-2007 Yeah, it's in stores.
FYI: HARBINGERS paperback - cobalt - 09-02-2007 I saw it in the supermarket today. I always check out the books ya know. Saw another lady browsing and steered her onto the saga...... And I noticed something I hadn't picked-up on before: on p. 7, Jack asks Timmy for a pen. Now, that doesn't mean Jack =doesn't= have a pen on him, but there seems to be no dramatic reason he'd ask for Timmy's if he'd had. I would have thought Jack would =always= have a pen on him, not just to write, but as a last -ditch weapon. Maybe a pen that has hidden surprises. I am scratching the psoriasis of confusion. But I always tell my staff, "Have a pen on you--we need one in our work." And the Valued Customers ask every day for a pen and a piece of paper. I just get tired of it. "You need a pen, do yez? From where I stand, you don't look like you could write an IOU. So why not fuck off and make your way to Borders. You'll find your kind there." Always take 2 Bic pens and dental floss on the airplane. Makes a great garrote. FYI: HARBINGERS paperback - phoenix rising - 09-03-2007 hmmm I'll have to remember that..... |
