RJ novels in Asia.....? - Kenji - 05-28-2007

I wondered one thing. RJ series and AC series are available in Japan, of course. But how about other Asian countries? China, Korea, India, Philippines, Thailand, etc etc....RJ series are available in those countries? There are no Asian members in this board except for me. So I'm interested about it.

Korea is starting to reprint some of my SF, and Russia's taken the whole Adversary cycle and LaNague series. But literary piracy is rampant in SE Asia. Someone reported Chinese and Thai versions of THE KEEP, and an illustrated version in the Phillipines (long before my graphic novel). I've seen none of them, but if anyone ever comes across one, grab it for me.

Literary piracy?! Damned, that's awful!

I've never heard about Philipines's illustrated version of THE KEEP. I'll keep a sharp lookout for it.

Paul's not the only victim, Kenji. Back in the late '80s, I attended a Fortfest (that's the annual get-together of the International Fortean Organization) with John Keel (author of THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES, among others). And a soul asked John to autograph a Spanish edition of UFOs:OPERATION TROJAN HORSE. John, gent that he is, obliged. "Keep this out of the wrong hands!," he inscribed. "Best, John A. Keel."

"Did you see that book, Lindner? That was a very nice edition. I liked it.
But I'd like it a lot more if I'd gotten paid for it."
