I do know that I have the change "The Scotch Whiskey Society" to "The Scotch Whisky Society." Anything else? No nit too small to be picked.[/SIZE]

I'll have some for you shortly. The biggest one I've noticed is on page 48 of the Forge hardcover:
"This was the first time Jack had heard him speak."
This is in reference to Zeklos, but Jack heard him speak back on page 24:
"Now that we have girl, what we do with her?"
And Jack responds:
"Right good question," . . .

I'm surprised that you, a half-Scotsman, made that mistake. Must have been the "proof"reader. Pun intended.

Whiskey and Whisky..........I wouldn't notice such a small error.

Whiskey is the normal spelling of the word, whisky is just a variation, but "The Scotch Whisky Society" spells it without the "E." So that's the correct way to do when mentioning that Society.

When you asked me the question about handgun ammunition, you asked; "Off hand, would you happen to know which hollow point slug has the deepest depression." When the book came out you mention that PMC Eldorado Starfire has the "largest" hollow point cavity. It doesn't. So, you might want to change the word "largest" to "deepest." Other than that, it's fine.

Back in the day (1794) we spelled it "whisky". We took our whisky very seriously where I grew up.

I don't have the book handy so I'll have to check to be absolutely certain, but when Jack looks at the rifle cartridge he found, I get the impression that he sees a headstamp which says "5.56 NATO." (To distinguish it from the 223 Remington, which is exactly the same cartridge . . . dimensionally.) I've never seen such a headstamp. Mind you, I haven't seen every type of European or Asian round, but those I have seen almost invariably have a "manufacturers" headstamp. Even military rounds have the manufacturers headstamp. ("WCC" which stands for "Winchester Cartridge Corporation" is an example. "IMI" which stands for "Israeli Military Industries" is another.) And rounds made by either commercial or military manufacturers, which are loaded to military specifications, have a little symbol on the headstamp which indicates a military loading. This symbol is a circle with what amounts to a plus-sign inside it. These same cartridges are also sold commercially. So . . . instead of mentioning "5.56 NATO," you might mention that tiny symbol instead.
The "plus" sign extends all the way across the inside of the circle, both vertically and horizontally -- like a pie cut into four equal sections.
