Truly unfortunate but probably fortunate, they would have butchered the story. It’s better to wait till it can be made right, no sense in making a work of art something less , i.e. The Keep: And I quote; "Now the old feelings had bobbed to the surface and lay floating there like a murdered corpse.” Why subject a truly ingenious work to lesser men’s objectivity.
