The Quiet Darkness - Marc - 10-23-2006 A week ago we shot a short film for a 13-Day Horror Film contest. It has been submitted to the UK company running the contest and I have now posted the film our website. The Quiet Darkness is a supernatural thriller about the remaining 10 minutes of a young woman's life. If any one is interested in watching it visit the site here. Quicktime 7 is required as well as patience... the file is 46MB. It is best viewed with the lights off and the volume up. If you don't have Quicktime 7 you can view the film at our MySpace site. The Quiet Darkness - Marc - 11-01-2006 The Quiet Darkness was nominated as a top ten finalist for the 13-Day Horror Film Contest out of over 60 entries. While we didn't win any awards just being in the top ten is extremely exciting. Thought I'd share my mornings good news. The Quiet Darkness - Dave - 11-01-2006 Marc B. Congrats, sounds like things are really happening for you. Who knows, Beacon may turn to a young upstart such as yourself to helm the RJ movie. Fantastic film, I hope you do well with Unfortunately, I knew what to expect because of Cobalt's post. I'm a fast reader, my eye skims and the information is absorbed, even if I am not reading purposefully. However, if I see a spoiler alert I will avoid that post altogether. Too bad a spoiler alert was not posted. I do wish I could have seen the film without the foreknowledge, it surely would have had a greater impact. But it was terrific nevetheless, Marc. Congratulations! You deserve all your awards. The Quiet Darkness - cobalt - 11-04-2006 Sorry Maggers. |
