Borderlands Adversary Cycle Vs. Original Adversary Cycle - Andrew - 10-05-2006 I’ve spent quite a bit of time & money chasing down the original versions of The Touch, Reborn, Reprisal & Nightworld online (used paperbacks). I’ve ordered, received & read them all except Nightworld (I got it in the mail yesterday & plan on starting it tonight). I just put in a Christmas request to my wife & mom for the Borderlands versions of all 6 books & I’m wondering how extensive the updates/changes to the books are. Aside from The Tomb, is Nightworld the only other book that was updated? Again, Aside from The Tomb, is Nightworld (or any other books that have been updated) substantially different than the original version? I’m a big fan of signed/limited/numbered books, so if the changes are minimal I’ll still be happy to own the books, but I was just curious about the extent of the revisions. Thanks in advance for your replies! Borderlands Adversary Cycle Vs. Well, Andrew, THE TOUCH and REBORN have simply been cleaned up and brought into the 21st century. REPRISAL's changes were a little more extensive, but not much. My main problem there was the eerie phone call. The present-day ubiquity of the cell phone was problematic, but I think I made a satisfactory end run around it. Suspennnnnnnnd disbelief...suspennnnnnnnnnnnd disbelief. Borderlands Adversary Cycle Vs. Original Adversary Cycle - tenebroust - 10-05-2006 A great place to find paperbacks of FPW's older books. I have all of the adversary cycle and many others, that I found in used book shops. I am definitely going to get the reprints/corrections as any little tidbit of Adversary Cycle business is FOR ME! Borderlands Adversary Cycle Vs. I believe Paul has mentioned they're going to be reprinted in paperback at a later date. |
