Lettered editon of Hosts question - SteveBlack - 09-18-2006 Hi folks - there's a lettered edition 'W' of Hosts on ebay just now: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HOSTS-by-F-PAUL-WILSON-SIGNED-LETTERED-EDITION-W_W0QQitemZ330030354235QQihZ014QQcategoryZ377QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. It's from a US seller My problem is that I own letter 'W' myself and I bought it straight from Barry at Gaunlet earlier this year. Anyone know what's going on? cheers Steve Lettered editon of Hosts question - Shocklines.com - 09-18-2006 Urrrrrgh...that's disturbing. Lettered editon of Hosts question - SteveBlack - 09-19-2006 I got a reply from Barry at Gauntlet but it doesn't answer my questions at all. I'm a bit worried about there duplicates out there....... I don't know who this person is at all. It's possible (the books is 4-5 years old) that I inadvertently labeled two with the same letter, but I try to be as careful as possible. The comment about the damaged traycase is bothersome, as well. If a traycase arrives damaged I'm contacted by the buyer and replace it. And, I haven't had anyone recently who has purchased a slipcase for the book. Sounds a bit strange to me. Best, Barry Lettered editon of Hosts question - jimbow8 - 09-19-2006 I know it's nearly impossible to tell from ONE letter, but does the 'W' look strange at all on the ebay version? The one in my book is a bit wonky as well Jim!?! |
