I emailed the story to my son. I've always loved that story--it seems far too unlike "fiction" today though.

LIPIDLEGGIN' originally appeared (in book form) in Jerry Pournelle's anthology THE SURVIVAL OF FREEDOM, came out around '81--'82. Great book, check it out. I took it with me to Germany in '82. Coime to think of it, that was the first story by Paul I read.

I've always loved this story - it would definitely rate as one of my favourites. It somehow seems even better when you consider it is now about 20 yeras old! (Sorry, that penultimate word should have been 'years'. Blame the bourbon!
