Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - kurrgan - 05-10-2006 Just finished Conspiracies and it was another fantastic installment of my favorite character. ***** SPOILER ALERT ***** Funny story to relate. As i sat at my wprk desk and came across the exchanges between Jack and Abe about SESOUP and Abe would always refer to them by a different name for soup i burst out laughing for what my coworkers thought to be no apparent reason. I was a giggly, cackling mess and loved every second of it. My coworkers were ready to have me fitted with a new snug white jacket and, you know what, as long as i can have Jack and Abe for company that's okay with me. zuppa de pesce and paella and hinnan faddie and whatever else he said had me picturing the movie with the old jewish guy saying it and hearing his voice as Jack corrected and he waved his hand dismissing him with his whatevers. Wonderful. Just wish i had me a gun salesman like that. ***** END SPOILER ***** i am going to get back online and do some more ordering. i didn't want to order them all at one time because then on days like today i would have nothing to look forward to as far as ordering and building up my anticipation for my next RJ fix. Anyway have a great day folks Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - Scott Miller - 05-10-2006 kurrgan Wrote:Just finished Conspiracies and it was another fantastic installment of my favorite character. Glad you're enjoying them so much, but I'd be careful if I was you. It sounds like your co-workers are starting to worry, next will be management. Try as you might, you'll soon find yourself in the unenviable position of having read them all. Oh well, then you'll just have to read them again. Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - kurrgan - 05-10-2006 "I should have such worries?" ( said in my best Abe Isher voice) "If the mushegeners in management can't take a joke it should be my fault?" "Maybe it's a conspiracy and i can contact them people over there at potage crecy" come on PLEASE SOMEBODY correct me, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I have been itching to recreate this, kind of, just so i can give the proper reply, my favorite word. Someone, anyone can ya help an old altar boy out? (bonus for anyone who knows where that line is from) thanks all Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - Paige - 05-11-2006 wow, you really nailed Abe's voice Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - Bluesman Mike Lindner - 05-14-2006 kurrgan Wrote:"I should have such worries?" Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - Blades - 05-14-2006 I just finished Crisscross myself. I have one more book(Infernal) and then I will be caught up for now. Blades Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - XamberB - 05-14-2006 HI, Has anyone read Harbingers yet? It's $66 on Amazon. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet and buy it, but that's expensive. Harbingers is a great book. Non-stop action and a real emotional roller coaster. Worth every cent. -Luthie Another one bites the dust (Conspiracies) - Tempest - 05-15-2006 Fictioneering...I like that word. From now when I read FPW's stuff, I will be forced to imagine him as Jack Sparrow, sort of stumbling around the room, telling the story out loud to a tape recorder |
