Dead in the Water - Marc - 07-21-2005 If anyone is interested, Dave and I are prepping a feature horror film titled Dead in the Water. To learn more about the project visit the official site at http://deadinthewater.rpmfilms.com. We've raised about half the budget so we're still looking for investors. There is more information on investment opportunities on the web site for those interested. Dead in the Water - Marc - 07-22-2005 A few people pointed out to me that Quicktime 7 is still in a "public preview" edition for Windows, so I have posted another version of the Dead in the Water preview in Quickime 6 format to make it more accessible. I hope you enjoy it! (And feel free to comment.) Dead in the Water - APhew - 07-24-2005 Wow Marc, this looks really COOL!!! After having seen the new cut of "Traps" (which is awesome), I'm glad to hear your making a feature film. I've always enjoyed indie horror movies (as long as they're done well, of course). It's even better when I kinda sorta know the people behind them. I hope you get some investors on board for this. Maybe some lurker on the board is stinking rich and will help fund it. Heck, if I could afford it, I'd help out. Best of luck to you and Dave on this project. If there's anything you need (moral support, for instance) I'm more than willing to help out. Nice trailer. Who did the music? Dead in the Water - Marc - 07-28-2005 Biggles Wrote:Nice trailer. Who did the music? It's a combination of two pieces of music from other films: Akira and Requiem for a Dream. Dead in the Water - Biggles - 07-29-2005 Marc B. Or Dominic Frontiere, who did The Invaders (if he's still alive). Dead in the Water - Marc - 07-29-2005 Biggles Wrote:You should get the person who did the theme for Millenium. THAT was spooky! I will look into it though and see what I can do. Dead in the Water - Biggles - 07-29-2005 Marc B. Wrote:That would be Mark Snow (also of The X-Files). A good friend of mine scored the music for George Washington (low budget movie, not about the president, 2000), Manic (2001), All the Real Girls (2003), and Undertow(2004). I can query him and see if he's working on any projects, and maybe get him in touch with you. |
