Secret History of the World - jordanswiderski - 05-30-2013 I began with The Keep followed by DemonSong, Black Wind, Sibs, & Reborn. I did Black Wind & Sibs because people said any order, but decided after Sibs I would kind of follow the Secret timeline. I bought The Tomb before I finished Reborn with the intention of reading it next, but after reading it and getting into the flow I wondered if I should try some of the shorts in the order of the timeline. Secret History of the World - jordanswiderski - 05-30-2013 Oh Yeah, I'm skipping the young Jack. Secret History of the World - Damin J. Secret History of the World - Damin J. Toell - 05-31-2013 OK, cool. I just wanted to make sure you weren't planning to never read them because they're for the Young Adult market. Secret History of the World - RichE - 06-04-2013 I think many of us would love to the see events during "Nightworld", about Jack's town, the Pineys and Scar-lip; and how they survived or dealt with it! Secret History of the World - jordanswiderski - 07-30-2013 Just finished the Host and will be starting The Haunted Air today. I have been reading all the books in the order on the secret history. Great stuff. Secret History of the World - mores - 08-07-2013 Yeah ... reading the secret history in order is awesome. But one has to be careful ... it starts seeping into your brain and before you know it, you'll fill in the "religion" field with "Secret History". Secret History of the World - Jamo - 08-19-2013 Hey guys, Since I've been barely reading in the last year, I am now catching up a bit. I think I finished the RJ series and the Adversary cycle now. SO great, I love it (well, I always loved it, but now I read all and finished Nightworld *g*). Really a big compliment for you Paul, great books you have written and fascinating characters! I have been reading the books over the last 10 years or so I guess so they really accompanied through my growing up What a feeling to finally 'finish'... Now I want more! This is why I am here again. I checked your Secret History of the World summary and just found the free Demonsong download. So, First of all, thanks for that Then I found Quick Fixes, which seems to include many short stories, although I don't know which of them I already read by reading the AC and RJ novels. I guess I just have to buy it some time. But not first priority, since I am not so much into short stories... So, a question about the titles that are not linked in your summary: Some are not published yet (Dark City, Fear City) and the other ones are short stories which are included in other books as it can be seen in the legend at the bottom? What I liked the most is, that you already finished the first of the prequels, Cold City. I am already totally excited to read this. Do you know when it will be published in germany? Or what the German title is/will be? Although I guess I will read it in english anyways and probably the other missing RJ novels will be published in german first. (Only 3,02€ for the kindle edition???) And when will the other two novels be finished? You know that already? So, greetings from a big fan in germany, perhaps you remember Manuel ps: There was once a thread I opened "the one they called Jamo", I can't find it now... what a pity, there have been some more informations inside... Secret History of the World - cobalt - 08-20-2013 Jamo! Good to see you again. |
