I don't know....Jack is always being described as mid-30s...Emily Proctor might be bit old, but she looks younger than all that. Remember, Jack's been in the business a while...

Movie Jack is in his 20s, though. That's why people are saying that.

I agree. Actually Jack is in his fifties for me, I met him 20 years ago while he was still in his 30's.

As Lisa says, the plan is to cast someone who will be able to perform in a string of movies, hence a twenty-something.

I guess I understand why, but I just have a hard time believing that a guy in his 20s would have the kind of experience with guns and general "repair" work that is exhibited in "The Tomb". I mean, he didn't even start until he was 17, so what? 5 or 6 years would make him that experienced? I guess I'm being to literal...I just want the movie(s) to be good...

Exactly. Barry Rosenbush and I were opposed to lowering his age. Jack needs a certain amount of mileage -- gravitas, if you will -- to make him a believable repairman.

India, an older Jack...it's beginning to sound a lot like The Tomb.

Yes! That makes so much more sense than some 20-something pretty boy doing the RJ thing. I'm telling you, Eric Close is about as good as I can think of...I hope he's at least been asked. I think he resonates the capability and "every-man"-ness that Jack is all about.

I'm so happy that "the man" agrees...the movie will be so much better with a mid-30s star....
