Proper reading order of RJ and adversary cycle books - mkmfpwfan - 05-15-2008

Now as a romance reader, I think Jack now is much more tuned in romantically shall we say with Gia, even though it is a very small part of the book, it speaks loudly to me of how much they care for one another and how important the relationship is. That is what I consider what romance is.

As opposed to a girl in every book scenario does. Not that I mind that, in fact I can see FP setting up hundreds of funny things with the women to drive Jack crazy. It doesn't even have to be deliberate, it just happens with women's inherent zaniness over some things. Keri

PS, you can never have enough hijinks, carnage and mayhem in a Jack book. :-)

No problem, if I had to put up with men, I'd be bitchy too.

Probably do a new girlfriend per book until he meets Gia.

Wapitikev Wrote:Better pull out that RJ Concordance. I remembered all these except the fire escape one from Gateways, so let me know where I can buy a copy of that concordance, too.

They are mostly side things, but the depth they add has no equal.Smile And the fire-escape was when Jack was talking about the forget-why-you-were-hurt-but-might-not-remember-right-away problem(don't know what it is called of the top of my head) to his dad, who couldn't remember what actually happened at the accident. Jack had a concusion, woke up and Doc Hargus told him about why a bit af time was gone from Jack's memory. Jack remembered a fire escape, but it took him a while to remember why he was there, and who pushed him.

That's funny. Can't remember the word 'Amnesia'. Big Grin I just reread Gateways last month and didn't remember this until you described it. Fire-escape must not be the trigger to remember.

I had no idea what you were talking about. I had to look it up. (The search function in Word is so handy.) Even after reading it I don't remember writing it.[/SIZE]

Yeah, but it wasn't called amnesia. It was called something else. And I have a collection of little side stories that tell a lot about Jack's previous life.Smile

I wouldn't be able to remember as much as you do.Smile But I think that would be an interesting story, even though we know what happened to the stupid loser who hurt Jack.
