I didn't recall hearing that info on michigan, that's good to know.

What does everyone think about the group talking about "what lies in the shadow of the statue"? I dont really think theyre from Whidmore or Ben anymore they seem more philosophical then either group has been about the island or anything pertaining to it. With them talking about Miles ability, there also seems to be a meaning to the question and less a question just to know whether they can trust someone or not as I thought before.

I didn't know that fact either.

It's a code phrase...but who is the leader of that group? They are also becoming more paranoid IMO. Is that big metal box on the beach really for guns? It looks like a coffin shipment container to me.

At first they seemed to use it as a code phrase but how he said it to Miles was almost as if asking him in the answer was the answer to his questions in a way. What he said after miles answered him seemed odd. He asked him knowing he had no way of answering the question. I'll have to rewatch to realy figure out what I'm trying to say.

I have no idea why really . . . but I get a vibe from this new group (if they really are) that has a religious or cult feel to it. It seems more Others-like than the scientific interest of the Dharma people but still somehow different.

Does anyone remember an orientation video with Chang saying not to let the past and future bunnies get near each other?

Would there be a big problem with Miles getting too close to his baby self?

Was that ever shown in an episode, or was that simply a Comicon video?

That clip was first shown a few seasons back (Season 3?) on abc.com as one of 10 or 12 "missing" video clips. They were great, interesting, and informative. Then that particular clip with the bunnies appeared in the box set for Season 3.

I referenced the bunny clip several times on the threads discussing Season 3, but it's way too much work to find those mentions.

colburn0004 Wrote:Everyone remember last years finale was called "Frozen donkey wheel" and come to find out the name described the finale (in a way) well this years season finale has been announced as being named "The Incident". Also I guess the key scene in the finale is titled "The fork in the Socket"....

I am re-watching last week's episode, and I've had a flash as to what "The Incident" may be. Perhaps it is the huge electromagnetic anomaly that caused them to cover over the "core" of The Hatch, the core that Desmond had to turn off (or turn on) with the key at the end of season 2, the core for which they had to push the button to safely release the excess energy that built up every 108 minutes. Hurley even references "the accident" at The Hatch.

Throughout the series, haven't they referred to something as "the incident," and I've always associated that something with The Hatch and the energy source in it. It must have been a HUGE blast of electromagnetic energy, and I bet that's how they will end this season.
