You guys may be on to something here. Maybe that's why Richard Alpert never ages. But how does anyone leave the Island then? OK, my brain hurts. This is soooo confusing. But fun. It's officially called the Orchid training video and it has been referenced many times by me on this thread and someone posted a link to it on this thread. It had been available on the abc.com/lost site. It is also available in the Season 3 boxed DVD set. Maybe for some reason if Jack gets too close to Aaron there'd be unpleasant side-effects . . . . ? Well, in the video, they kept yelling to keep the bunnies apart (seemingly identical bunnies) after the second bunny appeared. It seemed the whole room shook and rocked like a small earthquake had hit. The people holding the bunnies didn't have a problem, though I don't think they showed anyone actually picking up the second, duplicate bunny (or what appeared to be a duplicate bunny, or a time-transported bunny). I don't know why Jack would have unpleasant side effects by getting too close to Kate's Aaron, unless he is just morally squeamish about having a not-quite-right-child around. That is, if my suggested scenario is even accurate, which it probably isn't knowing LOST. I was thinking it might be something ludicrous, like Aaron goes in a time warp and a young Christian Shepard finds him and raises him as his own son . . . in that ridiculous (yet not beyond the writers of Lost's mindf*cking mentality) then Jack holding Aaron would be like the two bunnies touching. I wonder what would happen if the two bunnies did meet? Would it be like what happened to the baddie at the end of Timecop (they both died horribly) or would it be like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters (every atom in the universe simultaneously explodes at the speed of light)? Hopefully we'll find out soon!! LOST... the 4th season - Maggers - 03-20-2008 OMG! What an episode! OK, I surrender. Kate's Aaron is one of the Oceanic 6. They have all been revealed....Aaron, Kate, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Sun. More later when I've had time to digest that episode.... Phew! LOST... the 4th season - jimbow8 - 03-20-2008 Oh, Sayid, what have you done?!?! LOST... the 4th season - jimbow8 - 03-20-2008 Aprilis Wrote:lostpedia reportsThey've now updated it. It now includes Aaron. I think they wanted to be safe because Aaron was never explicitly mentioned as one of the six. Quote:Also I was thinking and we dont know if the person in the coffin is one of the oceanic 6.I've never assumed that it was. I still think it's Michael or Locke. ----------------- As soon as they stopped, I knew that the first person was going to be killed, but the second one took me off guard. Of course we can't assume that either one of them is dead .... yet. LOST... the 4th season - Maggers - 03-21-2008 jimbow8 Wrote:I've never assumed that it was. Quote:As soon as they stopped, I knew that the first person was going to be killed, but the second one took me off guard. Of course we can't assume that either one of them is dead .... yet.I totally forgot that the trailers and teasers for this week's episode kept saying "someone ... will ... be ... killed." I was so caught up in the episode, I forgot all about that. And then, as you said, Jim, the trio stopped in the jungle and I knew, as Carl did, that something bad would happen. Danielle, FINALLY, after 16 years gets a change of clothes only to have them ruined. Oh man, I was upset by that. I like Danielle. I liked her in blue. It brought out her eyes. I'm serious. I hope that it's not what it looks like, but somehow I think not. I think what we saw was real and that Alex is totally alone. Ben wanted that. You saw how he looked at Alex when Carl had his arm around her waist. And Ben was probably jealous of Danielle, too. After last week's episode and Ben's outburst with Juliet, it is clear that he is a lunatic, especially when it comes to the women in his life. Man, has he got mommy issues. If he can't have them, no one can. I suspect that Ben is behind the shootings tonight, the shootings that left Alex alone and dependent on Ben. That's how Ben likes his women... with no one else to turn to and dependent on him for their survival. I DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THAT BEN SAYS. NOTHING. NOTHING! Ok, so that said, who do we believe? Ben, when he says that the staged plane wreck and dead bodies at the bottom of the ocean was all Widmore's idea. Or Widmore, who says Ben did it. I'd like to go with Widmore because I don't believe a thing out of Ben's mouth. But somehow, that seems too easy........ Oh, and hey! What about the Island Monster Noise that Michael heard just before Libby's ghost (or whatever) appeared in the engine room to tell him not to do it. Say what? I've got more compassion for Michael now that he's wracked with guilt and wants nothing more than to die by his own hand. He truly has been to hell, but he's not quite back. I think he's going to stay in Hades a while longer. LOST... the 4th season - jimbow8 - 03-21-2008 Maggers Wrote:I agree. Coffin person is Michael or Locke. I also had compassion for Michael, though I'm not sure I ever TOTALLY despised him since I understood that all of his decisions were made with Walt's interest in mind (not an excuse for killing, just understandable reasoning). He's working on redemption, but as you say he still has a long way to go. Ben definitely is a sociopath, but I'm still kinda hoping he will turn out to be "the good guy" (see my earlier post). Is Ben behind the shootings? All of the freighter people on the island are accounted for, right? Or have other people snuck off the ship to the island? Remember the captain was beating crew for leaving the ship? Maybe at some point they dropped off another crew member or two. Still, though, the ONE thing that shocked me the most this episode was Sayid "outing" Michael to the captain. Sayid is still SO pissed at Michael, that I think he just made a very bad move that's going to have VERY bad repurcussions, imho. He says he has no more idea than we do, because he only sees the scripts as they are written, nothing ahead of time. Quote:Is Ben behind the shootings? Now that I think about it, the helicopter had taken off on another mission in the last episode, a mission that Sayid asked about and but was brushed off. But I still think Ben sent Alex with Carl and Danielle in the hopes that someone else would do away with Carl and Danielle. I agree, I don't think any good will come of it. In fact, I think we are seeing the beginning of Sayid's post-Island indentured servitude with Ben. |
