Does alaska get theirs the same time everybody else does? Anyone know? Im supposed to get a call from borders that my order/pre order came in and i dont know if i must wait longer of if they are just incompetent. Maybe a culmination of the two.

effiing idiots.

Worse than idiots. Liars. No publisher limits what a chain like B&N can order. They take orders many months in advance and adjust the print run to the number ordered. Very simple. A publisher can underestimate demand and run short when REorders come in (as happened with Harbingers), but with rare, RARE exceptions, advance orders are always filled.

Bought for the Sony Portable Reader Today. Does anyone know if Ground Zero will be coming out in Audio on CD or from Audible.com for Ipone.

Thanks
Mike

I worked for an Indie for a while a few years back - dustjacketing and cleaning up firsts and rare books, and assisting with their community literacy program. the guy had made some money early in silicon valley biz and had a great vision- its a shame he died before he could see it through. so the info he was giving me was just plain wrong and he knew that I knew it.

in case your publisher keeps track of these things:
Barnes and Noble

Today's the day I finish; I read a little more than half before my eyes gave up the fight. Great stuff so far.

Mine arrived today. And thanks to Amazon's Pre-order Price Guarantee, I just got back another $3.12 because the price dropped! Sweet!
