I'd LOVE to see the Gunslinger on the big screen! We got my dad the comic book collection sold by Marvel for Christmas, and you can bet that I'll be reading them when he's done!
The 19 is very significant. I thought they mentioned it in "Wolves", but it may have been later...

It has the potential so be so much better than the first movie.
As for the "burner of a story" comment, when he's in the basement of the hotel, you're exactly right! My bro said he absolutely couldn't watch it if they do that scene. He's very claustrophobic. :p

'Midnight Mass' I didnt see the Stephen Baldwin version but the synopsis sounded different then the book.
