Masters of Horror - Kenji - 10-26-2006 WooHoo!!! ![]() At last, I bought DVD box set season1 (vol.1). Japanese edition is seven stories in 4 discs. 1--Imprint 2--Cigarette Burns/Dreams in the Witch House 3--Jennifer/Sick Girl 4--Pick Me Up/Incident on and Off a Mountain Road Vol.2's release is November 23 So, tonight I just watched John Carpenter's "Cigarette Burns". It reminded me of "In the mouth of madness", but this "Cigarette Burns" was a really scary 60 minute! Blood, Blood, BLOOD! And, last 10 minute....I shouted "Oh my gut!!!" I liked it a lot! ![]() Now....what should I watch next? What was your favorite one? Masters of Horror - tenebroust - 10-26-2006 Kenji Wrote:WooHoo!!! "Cigarette Burns" is an excellent movie if you ask me, it reminded me of several other movies, like ITMOM, as you mention as well as "Ninth Gate" which is one of my favorites. "Dreams in the Witch House" was pretty good, a little bit more true to Lovecraft than most of the film adaptations. "Incident on and off a Mountain Road" is also quite good, I read the story by, I think, Joe R. Lansdale?, and was very pleased with it, and the movie follows the story line pretty closely. Okay, thanks....so I'll see "Dreams in the Witch House" next time. Lovecraft...hmm, sounds good! ![]() Masters of Horror - fpw - 10-26-2006 [SIZE="3"]The new season of MoH starts 10/27 (tomorrow night). Masters of Horror - ccosborne3 - 10-26-2006 Dammit all. I cancelled Showtime not two days ago for their failure to make Masters of Horror available On Demand. Now I've got to go and sign up again. I believe I've said it before but I'll say it again: Dario Argento's "Pelts" is not for the faint hearted. Masters of Horror - fpw - 10-26-2006 Maggers Wrote:My birthday, how lovely.
