The physical act of lesbian sex isn't repulsive to me. The anatomy is different, and therefore the act is much different. I'm not really interested in a film about lesbian cowgirls either. I don't even watch the pornos. Brokeback Mountain - t4terrific - 12-20-2005 Lisa Wrote::eek: Double B.S.! Now you're just scaring me. I'm saving triple for the big issues. Read what I wrote and provide me the quote where I said "homosexuality as material that is not to be touched." What I said is that all opinions are welcome on this board and all should be respected. Your opinion is no more valid than mine. Quote: You can say anything you want about the film as long as you don't mention gay as a negative. B.S.! Double even. To repeat, you can think what you like about anything, including homosexuality. Just as I can think what I like about anything, inlcuding homosexuality. Nothing I've written about your being entitled to your opinions negates the concept that your "pudding" joke was crass, no matter what you believe or don't believe. I can't take credit for that one. I was quoting another. When I saw the premise of this film, I couldn't believe it. Southpark's jokes, from years ago, were actually coming true. Well said, Maggers. Susan Brokeback Mountain - KRW - 12-20-2005 Maggers Wrote:That's kind of crass. Dang I was shooting for uncouth, I guess that's close enough. Maggers Wrote:The film is about a whole lot more than just sex between men. I have no problem with the plot, I was just pointing out the holes in it. Woman on woman action is acceptable, which only solidifies the idea that God is a man or that the Bible was written by men. (This is the only part of the Bible I like to quote, by the way, it's fun to watch reactions when you point this out.) Regarding this movie, the subject matter may not be ideal for most, but it all boils down to a love story. So what if it's between two puddin' eatin' cowboys, two Bible-sanctioned women, a man and a woman, a woman and a man, a man and his car, a woman and an ape... it's just a love story. You don't like love stories? Don't go see it. Brokeback Mountain - KRW - 12-20-2005 AsMoral Wrote:Damn homos, bad enough they're on TV... now in the movies as well! When will the madness end? I say we go burn vaginas on their front lawns! Heteros rule! Shouldn't we warn them first to change their wicked ways by throwing throwing one through their window with a note tied to it? That'll shake em up! Let's start with Richard Simmons, he's just begging for reform! If the note falls off they may deem it a sign of the apocolypse and all flee to fire island for a fabulous cookout. The world needs gays, who else will do all those makeover shows? |
