YA Jack series - HELP - pmsurrey - 06-11-2006

Hi, I am new here and just would first like to say to Mr. Wilson, thank you for one of the best series I have read in a long time. I am a big fan of Andrew Vachss and his character Burk. Repairman Jack is just as wonderful. I have also read some of your other books and have really enjoyed them. I have to thank Kenji for telling me about this series. May I suggest, "Jack, The Beginning."

I know the list has been closed, but I had one more idea....

Jack Be....

Though, I still like "Minor Repairs" the best because of the dual meaning.... think about it.

Hope I'm not too late, and I apologize if someone has posted this already, there are a lot of posts to wade through. I was thinking the series overreaching title might work as something more philosophical. How about "Sui Iuris: Of one’s own right" as the series title and then a subtitle for the particular story, like the Case of Kate's Cloistered Closet.

The list is never closed to a good suggestion.

Don't expect an answer soon, btw. This could take a while. We won't need a series title until we start printing review copies -- and I haven't even started writing yet.

Hey! I've done that before. I hate it when that happens. Its the moment that you realize that your line of thinking is going to paint you in a cornor about 5 or 6 chapters from now.

So, kind of like washing the floor and realizing you should have started at the far side, so you don't have to get your socks wet? I'm not really a writer, but I know what you mean.
He mentioned that he trashed it in another thread. I guess Kenji missed it.

Yeah, its just like that. But, instead of waiting for the floor to dry, you walk on the wet floor, bust your ass, then start over in the cornor after you quit cussing and throwing things( depending on how far you got before you noticed you just screwed yourself). Ahhhhh. The joys of writing. There are times I wonder why I bother.
