Best James Bond and best film...? - Flinx - 03-20-2005 Voted George Lazenby, had to support a fellow Aussie. You didn't list David Niven. He played Bond in Casino Royale, along with Peter Sellers & Woody Allen. It's one of my favourites, along with The Spy Who Loved Me because of the lovely Caroline Munro. Best James Bond and best film...? - Dave - 03-21-2005 Kenji Wrote:What do you think about next James Bond? Word is they're doing Casino Royale as the next Bond film. Going back to the beginning and playing it like it is Bonds first adventure (the buzz around Batman Begins may have played a part in this decision). So he could be younger than any other Bond before. Probably touching thirty? Biggles, Connery is Scottish, not Irish. And License To Kill is my favourite Bond film, along with Timothy Dalton my favourite Bond. Well, Connery was Bond, but voting for him just seemed so predictable. Dave Best James Bond and best film...? - Keith the Elder - 03-21-2005 Bond was first played by Barry Nelson in a TV version of Casino Royale in the late 50's, early 60's on something like Playhouse 90 or Suspense Theater. Best James Bond and best film...? - jamedog - 03-23-2005 Connery would have to be my favorite Bond, followed by Pierce Bronson, I don't know what my favorite Connery Bond movie would be, but my all time favorite Bond films would have to be GoldenEye and Die Another Day. Best James Bond and best film...? - jimbow8 - 03-23-2005 I actually grew up more with Roger Moore as Bond, so I am more used to him. I think Brosnan could have been the best Bond but has been cursed with HORRIBLE scripts (except Goldeneye, which I like quite a bit - the rest are crap, IMHO). Best James Bond and best film...? - All Thumbs - 03-23-2005 Diamonds Are Forever was my favorite because of Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd. Those guys were wacky! |
