Ken Valentine Wrote:An error is a mistake. A "fatal" error is a mistake than can (or will) kill you.

In short, you make a mistake (do something wrong) and end up dead because of it.

Sorry but the geek in me had to speak

Both true, which is why this title works so well for this book. Wink

And that cover is seriously, seriously weird! Which is not to say I don't like it, of course...

Harry and I went back and forth on this more than usual. We settled on a surreal landscape and a woman's torso with peep holes into that Otherscape. Any character come to mind?

I am continually amazed at the amount of time people have to waste.

Of course, but I admit I did not see the woman's torso immediately.

As I looked at various parts of the cover, I finally noticed a hand and that made me see the upper torso. The placement of that hand (the figure's left) and the suggested placement of the other first struck me as a classic pregnancy pose which put me in mind of a different character until I noticed the peep holes. So the figure works on two levels, at least for me.

It really is a well-done illustration.

I'm speechless.

That's quite an interesting cover. Can wait to read the book!
