You may have written it prior to the convention where we met, but I believe you read it there for the first time. I know it was the first time I heard anything about it and I'm fairly certain it was sort of a 'knee jerk' reaction to someone who was a successful 'performing' artist but I can't recall who.

It wasn't as shocking as the Chinese "performance artist" doing the penis self-amputation. A childbirth artist can at least do one performance a year, but this guy only got one shot at it.
