And while you're at it, read Steven Spruill's SLEEPER (although it's printed under the pen name of Steven Harriman.) The next Steven Spruill novel I have to get is PARADOX PLANET which FPW "mined" for an idea when he wrote DYDEETOWN WORLD. (It's in the acknowledgements for DYDEETOWN WORLD -- which I just reread.) In fact, I thought I had read all of his books but I'm pretty sure I'd never read Painkiller(I had no recollection of having read it while I was reading it)until last week when I pulled it off my shelf. His Hemophage Trilogy: Rulers of Darkness, Daughter of Darkness and Lords Of Light are some of my favorite books.
