Wap, are you working for Gauntlet? You got the Forge release wrong by a month and a half.

But this also brings to mind something else I've been thinking about.

Velocity. (The Man knows what I'm talking about.)

We should all coordinate to buy our Forge copies on the same day to get Ground Zero to shoot up to the top of the best seller list. Not the same week or the week after but the same day.

Just a thought.

I used the memory about what was discussed regarding the Forge edition, a few months back...sue me.

Amazon says September 15th 2009 for the Forge edition.

Don't all the presold copies from places like Amazon count for the velocity on the first day of sales? If not then where do I need to buy mine in order to assist...and no, I'm not flying to New York in September.

I could do some early Christmas shopping, however.

I have no idea. I recall though that this one author I read urges his readers to buy 10 copies of his new book on the day it comes out (or something like that) and the first so many people to do it and offer proof get to appear in the next book he's writing. Only in name and description.

Careful, I'm American. I might.

I believe all the amazon and b&n.com and Borders.com pre-orders get listed as sold on the street date, which is 9/15, but the safest thing is to place your order that date. Same with any of the big chains. Not all indies are reporting stores, though Dark Del is. I'm not sure about Wal-Mart because they don't use Bookscan.

Yes, they make excellent Halloween, Chanukkah and Christmas presents.Wink

I hope so, I've already pre-ordered from Amazon.

Is there anyone selling signed copies, with the option for inscriptions, the way Shocklines used to do?
