Someone mentioned the 80's, and there were TONS of great (ok maybe no so much) horror/comedy films made back then. Two B Films that come to mind:

Scream Deep Rising Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein Hold That Ghost Ghost-busters......the first one only Young Frankenstein..........put the candle back! BeetleJuice Fright Night The Mummy Pirates of the Caribbean....any of the 3, but the first one was best IMHO.
