Hey gang!! I thought I'd pop in and say hello. Missed y'all! As y'all have read, me and Jaybird got engaged. It was very romantic and sweet the way he did it. And my ring is absolutely perfect! It's so beautiful.
Thanks for all the congratulations! As for Pelts, I did a lot eye closing and peeking through my fingers. It was really gruesome!!

had to resurrect this thread after finding "Pelts" in my local Walmart yesterday and unable to resist the buying urge
spoilers alert.................
sick, gruesome and thought provoking. loved it. obvious detours from the short story and one big ommission (the homeless woman at the end, I was looking forward to her, felt like we were missing some closure without her). also wasn't crazy abou thow they did some suicides like flashbacks. interrupted the continuity (didnt ruin it though since I blew off two important calls to finish it).
classic horror.

Maybe I've been desensitized by 30 years of looking at autopsy photos and crime scenes, but it didn't gross me out. It was very gory all right, but I've seen far worse in real life.
It was a great movie though!

I read a review in the NY POST of a new flick called CAPTIVITY. I simply don't get it. Why would any sane person want to see a woman being tortured? Anyone who does, something has gone very wrong in their heart. To me, that is =true= pornography. Of the vilest kind. I have the same objection to womens' boxing. The =only= reason to watch is to enjoy women being hurt. Sad to say, an audience exists. And that audience dwells at the lowest stratum of the soul.

My local Walmart had it, and reasonably priced.
