Wrote:If anyone is interested, Dave and I are prepping a feature horror film titled Dead in the Water. To learn more about the project visit the official site at http://deadinthewater.rpmfilms.com. Just now I watched the trailer. Looks terrific! Who's actors and actresses? Is this a theatrical film? Do you have a plan for export to Japan? I can't tell you the exact length but the script is 100 pages so figure about 90-100 minutes in length. We haven't cast yet but will be soon. It will most likely be local talent from Wisconsin and Chicago. Full announcements will be listed on the web site as soon as we know. As for international release it's something we want to do but haven't explored fully yet. Our first priority is to complete the film, second is to get a U.S. distribution deal and finally we'll explore international distribution. We are also planning an Internet downloadable version but I can't release the details of this method yet. And here comes the plug... We still need a few more people interested in investing. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll send you a business plan. Dead in the Water - Kenji - 07-30-2005 Marc B. Wrote:Dead in the Water will be a feature film. Dead in the Water - Anders Monsen - 08-01-2005 Marc B. Wrote:Thanks for the information. Let me know if he's available and interested. He replied that he's always wanted to do a horror movie, and intends to get in touch with you. I recommend you rent one or more of the movies I listed to check out the music (I believe he collaborated with Philip Glass in the last one). Good luck! Anders Dead in the Water - Marc - 08-01-2005 I'll be checking out George Washington, All the Real Girls and Undertow from Netflix. Maniac, however, I can't find. You have my e-mail address so have him e-mail me when he has some time. Thanks! Dead in the Water - Anders Monsen - 08-01-2005 I think it's Manic, not Maniac. I must have typed it wrong the first time. Anders Dead in the Water - Marc - 08-01-2005 Anders Monsen Wrote:I think it's Manic, not Maniac. I must have typed it wrong the first time. My bad. I spelled it wrong. Dead in the Water - Marc - 08-19-2005 As some of you are aware we are still raising money for our film Dead in the Water. One way you can help is to visit our on-line store and purchase a t-shirt, hat or button. All profit from the sale goes to funding the film. (To learn more visit the Official Dead in the Water Website.) The store can be accessed either from the Dead in the Water website or by clicking here. Dead in the Water - Scott Miller - 09-19-2005 I don't know why it didn't occur to me sooner, but a good friend of mine is a musician who specializes in scores and is quite talented(IMO). A couple of bonuses for you guys is that he is moving to the Chicago area in less than two weeks, he will work for cheap, and he is an incredibly hard-worker, he would continually tweak until you tell him to stop. If you haven't yet secured a music supervisor, he might be an option worth considering. His name is Matt Channing and you can contact him at mattchanning@aol.com. He is without his website due to the pending move but he will gladly send you samples of his work. And the final kicker is that he knows more about movies and scores than anyone I have ever met and he loves horror movies. |
