Did that make any sense at all?

I get it. The word THE if starting a title will never have the opportunity to commume with its XELTON!

How about The Sixth Ring?

If you're going to feature a samurai sword made by one of Japan's most legendary swordsmiths, why not go for a two-fer and throw in one of her most legendary swordsmen? Miyamoto Musashi was a samurai who lived in the 17th century. He wrote a book on military strategy called Go Rin No Sho, or The Book of Five Rings. Each book focuses on a different aspect of warfare, and is named for one of the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and the Void.

What element would a Sixth Ring represent? Otherness, maybe. And what aspect of warfare would it describe? How to make a spear by stripping it's branches?

So sadly true, brother. But even titles starting with a null-word may find their way to somewhere. Let's see...unbaptized nulls go to Limbo...but the high theologians of the Holy Catholic Church have said, "Used to be that way, ain't that way no more. Fuhgeddaboudit!" Hmmmm....where's the good old Pope when you need him? ("Converting nulls, you moron!" Thanks, Ken V.!) So maybe a wise null will chose Unitarianism. In that creed, =any= word can do =anything= and still thumb its nose at the printer's devil.

Whew!

Good stuff, Welcome to the board. Sadly I have it on good authority that the big guy has started referring to one of his grandkids as "Homeslice". It's a catchy phrase that rolls off the tongue. It's just a matter of time.

Thanks, glad to be here. So it's Homeslice, then. Dang. I guess "Repairman Jack and the Chamber of Big Honkin' Japanese Swords" is totally out, then?

Nothing definite yet. I can feel it though. I think a variation of Honkin' swords has already been suggested 8 pages ago. Too bad this thread is too long to reread.

Welcome to the board, Cory! And I wouldn't say, "[B]ig Honkin'..." is totally out. But Paul's a busy hombre. Might be up to =you= to write it.

Blast my meteor-scarred hide...that's an ah-deer. A Repairman Jack tribute collection written by Paul's fans!

Jack awoke, screaming.
"Jack--JACK!"
"OK now, Gia...I'm OK..."
"Was it the same bad dream, Jack?"
"Yeah..."
"Talk to me, Jack. It helps if you talk."
"Same dream, baby. Everything's fine. And then..."
"What, Jack? Tell me, baby..."
"And then...Bluesman Mike...he...he starts writing about me..."
"Give me a gun, Jack. I know where he lives."
