That is one of the reasons I reject the biblical argument against homosexuality, because other infractions against the "sanctity of marriage" (and other laws) are completely ignored. It's hypocritical.

On those lines, though, where is the public (and religious) outrage against movies containing blatant adultery? That is a LOT more commonplace.

Like in The Horsewhisperer. Almost everyone was wishing for the lady to sleep with Robert Redford's character. They didn't seem to care about the fact that the lady was married to a generally good man.

The number of movies in which adultery (extra-marital and pre-marital) occurs and is accepted as given is nearly uncountable. I have NEVER heard moral objections to these movies on the scale of those voiced for Brokeback Mountain.

Indeed you do, er...did, my friend. I wish I'd had the stamina to stay up with you guys that night.

After a few frozen drinks, which I was informed were girly drinks, I switched to tequilla and from that point on staying up wasn't a problem. It was sitting up that caused some troubles...and standing...don't get me started on that feat.

No actually that's what tire irons are for. I hope I never have to depend on you to change my tire! Big Grin

Here it is! Indian A Law at GU 4 plus FPW speaking the King's English.

My lord you guys were smashed! ROFL!

If I hadn't had to catch a shuttle back to my resort, I'm sure I would have been just as smashed. I just stopped earlier than they did!

And keeping your tequila on the INside of the shot glass, where it belongs!

Indeed, that's why I'm so glad you don't drink any more. I stopped drinking too. It was toughest 8 hours of my life!
