I won the first 11 Stephanie Plum books on Ebay! So I'll be starting the series pretty soon. Then I'll know who Ranger and Morelli are!

I really wanted the actual books but the price on the Ebooks was so good I couldn't pass it up. Gotta save money since the hubby blew out his shoulder a couple of months ago. He has surgery next Thursday.
Sorry to hear that about hubby........hope all goes well and for a quick recovery!

Yes, sorry about your hubby but glad to hear you got the books! Big Grin They will keep you amused and maybe you could read parts to your hubby to help him laugh during recovery. Gramma and the turkey is a great scene! Big Grin Big Grin

Medusa,
I hope your husband has a successful surgery and quick recovery. Stephanie Plum can't help but heal him. Laughter is the best medicine, after all. I agree with Lisa. Read some to him, but watch out, he may fall off the bed laughing.Big Grin

I know you love to read, so you will fly through those 11 books. 2006 will be a Plum summer for you, like 2005 was for me. Enjoy! I'm almost envious.

I'm about 30 or 40 pages in and I have to admit Ranger sounds pretty damn hot! Morelli doesn't seem to have it to me. But that "long dark hair in a ponytail". Oooh! I'm a sucker for long hair.

I don't watch it! In my eyes it is only a cheap copy of "Lord of the flies" by William Golding.

I couldn't disagree more. It is the most inventive, exciting and extraordinary television I've ever seen. Of course, the X-files rates up there, too.

We are lucky that taste is different Wink

The X files is light years ahead of Lost. I love Lost but no way does it come close to the power of the FILES!

Keep reading. Morelli gets hotter in the other books. And Ranger....Oh, Ranger...I'm a sucker for Cuban guys!

I gotta agree with this, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a hopeless slavering X-Files addict. If Lost can produce 4-5 more years of episodes that consistently get better, then we'll be able to compare better. Lost is still very, very good, but it is no X-Files... yet.
