I guess it won't be long before we see "10,000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle: The Movie". I can't help but wonder if someone in the film is going to say "You sank my Battleship!"

I love how they chose a board game with no plot whatsoever. The entire goal is to blow shit up. With that in mind, this movie is worthless without Michael Bay or Tony Scott at the helm. At least with Clue they had characters, sets, and props already built in. Here's my prediction for this movie. Two armies are at war on the sea. One is human and fighting to save humanity. The other is some unknown/robot/alien menace. It turns out in the end that the unknown/robot/alien menace is actually being controlled at a 10-year-old kid playing a posessed talking Battleship game in his basement.

I'll have to take your word as I've never met him, just knew he hailed from the thriving metropolis of Kearney is all. Damn they should make a movie set in Kearney centered around the museum of course.

Think of the FX of a giant peg coming down on top of a ship-awesome, simply awesome. I'd want to be on the U-Boat because those damn things were near impossible to hit.

There was the scene of those explosive projectiles sticking into the side of the ship like a peg on a board. So symbolically there was pegs. LOL

I'll be pissed if they don't say it, I mean they made the stupid thing, might as well go all in.
If they are going to make movies from board games, I'd love to see Talisman get made, that might actually be good.
