How about a Reborn II where ya bring Jack's dad back to life so that when it's all over, and Rasalom is toast, Jack, his dad, Gia, and Vicki can all sit and watch the sunset together, the men sharing a couple'a Rolling Rocks? Dad was all right and it would be so good for Jack to have his father in his life WITH his approval of Jack's livelihood. Something to think about...or just something for ME to think about. Heh.

Paul, I couldn't agree more about Rolling Rock being bastardized by the A-B mega-brewer. It's the saddest day in beer history since Duquesne Brewing went out of business over 30 years ago. I wish I could get Yuengling here in NW Indiana, but nobody carries it. I've gone to Smithwick's, Wexford (when I can find it) and my old stand-by, Guinness Draft.

Thanks for the reply. I know nothing of the monopolization attempt by Anheuser-Busch, but it doesn't seem out of the ordinary for corporations to try and grab it all! And it's a real shame too, 'cause i like the Rock and really dug the fact that Jack was into it.
...yet another casualty in Jack's life...damn, the guy is getting more than his fair share of abuse, huh?

No Kidding! I can't tell you how PISSED I am about the death of Rolling Rock. I grew up on that stuff. We used to buy kegs of it for parties at Duquesne back in the early '70s (as well as Genessee and Genny Cream Ale). Iron City didn't impress us (but it's still around) and Duke beer had gone out of business. Sometimes life just sucks. :mad: Oh, and although I already don't drink Bud, I will now encourage others not to as well. So there.
