FAQ Question - RM_Jeff - 04-26-2005 hi, I'm a new member so hopefully I'm not asking something too stupid. Reading the FAQ I came across the below section on future works. INFERNAL (novel) (Repairman Jack) Gauntlet Press (signed limited first edition: 450 + 52) (July 2005) Forge – (trade hc: 11/05) Does this mean the newest Repairman Jack novel will be out in July or will I have to wait until Nov?? Jeff FAQ Question - APhew - 04-26-2005 RM_Jeff Wrote:hi, It all depends on how badly you want the new RJ novel. The Gauntlet Press edition is the true "first edition" hardcover, but it's also a limited edition. 450 "numbered" copies and 52 "lettered" copies are up for grabs. You can order this through their website at: http://www.gauntletpress.com These are mainly bought by the collectors or fans who simply can't wait the extra few months for the trade editon. The Forge edition is considered the "trade edition". This is the version that you can find just about anywhere you usually buy F. Paul Wilson books when they are released (Waldenbooks, Barnes & Noble, etc...). I hope this makes things clearer, it can be confusing at first. I had no clue what a limited/lettered edition was until I started collecting all of his works years ago. Oh, and where are my manners: Welcome to the board! FAQ Question - jimbow8 - 04-26-2005 In case you hadn't guessed, there are quite a few collectors of first editions on this board, though I am not one of them. Welcome to the board, Jeff. FAQ Question - RM_Jeff - 04-28-2005 Thanks for the welcome. I was hoping the July 2005 date was the day new posters got a copy.
