Leny is back!!! He has become a Junior Member and is using "Achiever" as his monicker and is still trying to peddle his spam on this website. He has shown up on the "Nosmog" thread! !

He provided his and webmasters e-mail. If I add them to my address book and forward all unwanted e-mail their way to return their favor, does this have the potential of causing me more trouble than I currently reqiure.

Sorry, I am not technologically proficient enough to answer this. If someone else out there know the answer to this please supply it to the rest of us so that we can all spam the spammer.

I don't know if this is true for your unwanted guest, but a lot of spammers either operate from an anonymous server, or are using other peoples equipment (unknown to the host). If you return all the spam messages, you are adding traffic to your own mail server, and probably not affecting the spammer at all. Your messages will never get back to him personally, but will add traffic to the server(s) he is using...

Thank you for the information. It all seems to be a moot point since somebody (most likely one of our moderators) deleted Leny/Achiever's thread from this website.

Achiever is still being welcomed as our newest member. Can we get a membership drive going? Wink

I can ban his IP address but I am not sure if that will do the trick. It depends if he has a dynamic IP or not. Let me know if this is what you guys want me to do, as this is a fairly perminent solution if he is on a static IP..

Sounds good to me. I got on this website to talk to people all over the world who enjoyed FPW books, most especially the Repairman Jack series. I have no desire to have commercial interruptions here!
