Check out the article here.

What's so hard about changing the channel? Granted, I think Fear Factor is a pretty lame show but still...

I like how the Cleveland man ran out and hit his head on the door AND can't do any interviews unless they pay him. What a dumbass.

NBC needs to counter-sue and put his ass in the poor house!

ARGH! I hate these frivolous ding-dongs!

I've been waiting for a contestant to sue because of contracting some disease from the items that they injest. But a viewer?!?!? Gimme a break! The only comparable suit I can think of is when that lady sued Entertainment tonight because the show's host's (Mary Hart?) voice caused the viewer to have seizures or some such nonsense. Sorry if a TV show causes me to seizure, I don't watch it.

Maybe if the dumbass would get up and exercise a little instead of sitting on his ass watching TV, his blood pressure wouldn't be a factor. I have a terribly weak stomach and have gotten the dry heaves several times from that show. Oh, but then I turn the TV, DUH!!! Lots of Discovery Channel things make me gag, too. Or those disgusting plastic surgery shows, ugh! What a lazy dickhead!

I've got 2 words to say on the subject:

Personal responsiblity

Whatever happened to that concept?

I think the producers of Fear Factor specifically targeted this viewer in order to torture him and cause him harm and duress! They deserve to be sued!

I'm joking, people!

Quote:His suit added, "NBC is sending the wrong message to its TV watchers that cash can make or have people do just about anything beyond reasoning (sic) and in most cases against their will."

Now I'm not saying he's filing this lawsuit under duress, but maybe NBC has brainwashed him so bad that he thinks his $2.5 million suit is doing something beyond reasoning.

Wink

Similar to the supposed phone-rape by Bill O'Reilly...it was not taken out of her hands, it's called hanging up the phone. I hate the lawsuits that make their problems the fault of someone else.

I read this article. I can't believe it.....contestants eat dead rats??? How can they do that? Yikes!

And, Cleveland man that he has sued NBC for $2.5 million? Gosh! Well, we call them "Odoru Aho ni, Miru Aho". This meaning is "Stupid dancer, and stupid watcher".

By the way, I think it should be The Stella Award. :p

It may very well end up as a candidate for a Stella Award.

As far as I'm concerned, the statement by the man filing the suit that, "I'm not at liberty to discuss the complaint unless it is a paid-interview situation." tells it all. He's doing it strictly for the notoriety . . . and the potential money.

The suit SHOULD be laughed out of court . . . but it probably won't be.
