Dat-Tay-Vao? - Tiberius - 03-13-2015 I've read the Secret History up to Gateways (the book I'm on now), but did not read Dat-Tay-Vao. I'm trying to figure out what the phrase means, sine it keeps cropping up in the books. It looks Vietnamese or something but I can't find a reference for it outside of Wilson's works and some poetry in a language I can't read. I know I'll hear more about it when I get to the "The Touch" but would like to know what the phrase means anyway. Can anyone help me out? Thanks, Dat-Tay-Vao? - Logan - 03-13-2015 It means "the touch". I'm not being a smarty pants on this. Read either the short story "Dat Ta Vo" or read the book "The Touch" . I'd hate to give it away because it's pretty neat. |
