One of the truly great pioneers of special effects died yesterday. I think the cinematic world is a lot worse off today. His talent and dedication to the art form was extraordinary, whether it was Talos or skeletons or a roc or Bubo, he made me love his films. Another door to yesteryear is closed.

A weaver of dreams and nightmares. What words, can anyone say, about a man who has given so much to all of us with a love of fantasy in cinema? I'm glad that the novel to "20 Million Miles To Earth" is being reissued soon. Thank's Ray! We can only continue to enjoy all of your hard work in the years to come!!
