The History channel has Vikings on Sunday nights in my area. Anyone else watching this? It's filmed in Ireland and has captured my attention. We watched the third episode last night....and I'm liking it more and more.

If there's any info on the Cochranes, then please share. It's been awhile since I looked into it, but I recall reading something about how the Cochranes were originally invaders (like Vikings) who grabbed some land in Scotland and then married into the community until they became a native clan.

I am really liking this series. It has its warts, but is based in history with Ragnar Lothbrok and (hopefully) the Sons of Lothbrok and the Great Heathen Army making an appearance.
