Amazon is providing 10 points for every dollar spent on digital downloads this month if you use an Amazon.com rewards Visa. Pretty good excuse to treat yourself, or fill in any holes in your collection.
If you buy a lot on Amazon, it might be worth looking into a rewards card. I love it. Anything that is sold directly from Amazon, not the marketplace, gives 3 points per dollar, everything else is either 1 or 2 points per dollar. And you can apply points as cash on your purchase right in the checkout process at the rate of 100 points per dollar.

Wow! I really don't want a credit card but I do use Amazon a lot; especially for my Kindle. I guess I could get one and ONLY use it for Amazon! Thanks for the heads up!

We pay it off every month, so for me it's just free credit. I didn't want another one either, but I gave in a few years ago when I was in charge of purchasing a few expensive electronic gifts my sister and I were splitting, and they were doing a triple bonus, so I got 9 points for every dollar I spent. And I spent a lot that year.
I just used a bunch of points to give myself a 50% discout on a very expensive pressure cooker we had our eye on. Got a top of the line model for just a little more than the standard ones. Between the points and the free super saver shipping I feel like I get good prices, and it shows up at the door. I still go to our local stores, but if it's an item I would normally buy at a chain retailer I often check online.
This is the little push I needed to give in and get all the RJ ebooks.
