Kindle edition of Conspiracies - karatelovr - 08-05-2011 I just recently discovered Wilson as an author and am reading from a each of his different "genres" for lack of a better word. I started on the RpJ series but I can't seem to find a Kindle edition of the 3rd one. Any scoop? I only read by Kindle these days so no interest in tracking this down in print. Thanks! Oh, and this was by far the most tedious registration process I've ever encountered for a message board! And I just had a simple question! Kindle edition of Conspiracies - rjack_fan - 08-05-2011 Welcome! It seems odd that Conspiracies is not listed on the ebooks page. We'll have to wait for someone in the know to say if it's coming soon. In the meantime, you found the right place to discuss everything related to the books of FPW. Black Wind is a favorite of many people here, and it ties in down the road to the RJ series. Glad you stopped by! Kindle edition of Conspiracies - Marc - 08-05-2011 :welcome: As of right now no Kindle version for Conspiracies is available. Rjack_fan's right; we have to wait until someone in the know announces it. But be sure it will be mentioned here as soon as it's known. And I read Black Wind and rather enjoyed it but cannot pinpoint exactly why, lol. I'm recommending Wilson to family members and I compare him to Dean Koonz - I think Wilson's writing is solid, his characters are likable and we get a lot of bang for our buck (i.e. long involving story for a relatively low price) with a bit of either sci fi or the super natural mixed in. I've also read The Keep, the first two of RJ and just started the La Nague Fed series. I've also read some of his random works. So far, Sibs is the only one I really didn't like - mainly b/c it took about half a book for me to get interested. I hate reading things out of order, but if I get desparate, could I skip Conspiracies? Would I be missing anything? The early books aren't "required" reading, you just might miss a few references later on. I think you're safe skipping it for now. Kindle edition of Conspiracies - waelse1 - 08-06-2011 The early RJ book Legacies came out on Kindle recently, and was a fun read. I'm waiting for Conspiracies too. They all seem to be coming out on Kindle, but at their own pace. All good things come to those who wait . Kindle edition of Conspiracies - Lisa - 08-06-2011 Welcome! Conspiracies is actually my favorite RJ book, but definitely does not need to be read to understand the rest of the series. FPW still wasn't planning on a long series when he wrote Conspiracies, so it's not as much of a "continuation" as the RJ books that came later. |
