The Adjustment Bureau - Kenji - 05-31-2011
This evening I saw "The Adjustment Bureau" on a theatre. Based on the short story by Philip K. Dick.
A lot of filmmakers made movies from PKD's works. Some movies were good(i.e. The Blade Runner, Total Recall), some movies were terrible(i.e. Next, Paycheck).
So,... how's "The Adjustment Bureau"?
I liked it. Mat Damon play David Norris, he is ambitious politician. One day he met a beautiful woman, Elise. They fall love. But mysterious guys appeared to David, then they try to keep them apart...
The movie is different from short story, but it was okay for me. No action scenes like M.Damon's Jason Bourne series. David Norris is only just runaway from guys of The Adjustment Bureau. But those were very thrilling moments.

same here. It had a Brazil-ish feel to the trailers that made me interested. I think I'll see it this weekend if X-Men is sold out.

It's not big budget movie, but...you know? Sometimes a little budget movie is fine.
