Robin Hood (2010) - The Mad American - 05-26-2011
So I finally got around to watching this movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0955308/
on Netflix and I have to say, what the hell happened to this piece of crap? Is this really the team that brought us Gladiator? This was one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. Felt more like a bad made for TV movie than a blockbuster action movie with big names attached.

I totally 100% agree. I couldn't see Russell Crowe as Robin Hood.

It took me two attempts to make it through it. I fell asleep the first time at around the half way point. And I don't usually fall asleep during even bad movies. The second half was much worse than the first half. Awful awful movie.

You're remembering right, Mike.
Richard Greene, who played Robin Hood on TV (one of his best friends, Tyrone Power, did it in the movies), had a promising career going until he abandoned stardom to join the British Army in 1940.
After the war, he never was able to bounce back. Robin Hood is probably the role he'll be best remembered for.
Personally, I thought he was awesome as Sir Henry Baskerville with Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes in "Hound Of the Baskervilles".

I'm not a huge Russell Crow fan, but I think he's ok nonetheless. This movie, however, was a travesty, not to mention I'm bored to tears of the remaking of Robin Hood to the tenth power.

I fell asleep as well, haven't been back to watch the rest
Some stories just don 't need to told again, even Costner's version was better than this

There was an 80's show as well with Michael Praed (and then Jason Connery)
This my personal favorite version of Robin Hood
