127 Hours - GeraldRice - 05-13-2011 Just saw this last night. Excellent. James Franco actually carries this movie (well, he kind of has to). But he does a really good job of it. Not quite on par with Tom Hanks in Castaway, but that's an unfair standard to hold him to. But he was better than Ryan Reynolds in Buried. I don't get why it's rated R, other than the part
where he hacks off his arm
. 127 Hours - Tony H - 05-13-2011 GeraldRice Wrote:Just saw this last night. Excellent. This is based on a true story, I can't imagine having to make that decision. 127 Hours - GeraldRice - 05-13-2011 AsMoral Wrote:Is that part very graphic? It was funny when the rock fell on his hand because he screamed, but then he immediately realized what had happened. I got the feeling the pain was like a spark, but then there was no blood to those nerve endings. 127 Hours - Kenji - 06-18-2011 After I saw Skyline, I saw 127 hours too. James Franco was excellent performer. His last decision...if I were him, I'm not sure I can do that. But I'll do it, after all. |
