My painting of Infernal - Ludovic - 05-13-2011

Hello!
I'm new here and I try to post again...
I would like to present you a painting I've made 3 years ago about Repairman Jack, from the book "Infernal". (I'm like totally crazy about it!!!)
I was very impressed from the story and the very strange thing called "Lilitongue of Gefreda", so I decided to paint a scene of it...
For Jack's character, I've choose the actor Nathan Fillion, and for his brother's John Heard...
Please tell me what you think.

Personally, I love it. You seem to have some abstract thing going on but it comes off very original. I'd like to see more of your stuff if possible. I also like that the subject book is Infernal. It's probably the least popular of FPW's works as it lacks a lot of action but it makes up for it with the character development. I liked the interaction between the brothers. Very good stuff, Thanks for sharing.

Thank you CCosborne, unfortunately I didn't paint other Repairman Jack Scene (I would like to, maybe soon), but if you are interested, you can see my works at this address: http://ludovic-art.blogspot.com/

I never finished Infernal. It was the RJ book that I stopped at after the airport scene...there was something about the way the series was headed that, at the time, I could not agree with. And Gia's behavior prior to Jack going to the airport...that set me off in a real bad way. I never liked Gia, but that turned me off to her completely.

HOWEVER, I think your painting is very well done. Is it possible to reduce the size of the file because even if I scroll all the way to the right I cannot see the entire painting. I like it and its obvious you have some talent. Are there any more that you've done or plan on doing?

Well done! Excellent!

I think Lilitongue of Gefreda is egg-shape more. Smile

Hello Sigokat!
Thanks for the compliment! Sorry for the size of the picture but I can't do anything to resize it on this thread, because it's a direct link to the picture on my blog.
Like I said to CCosborne, I didn't paint another Repairman Jack scene, but I will certainly soon...
I think I would like to paint a scene of Abe Store, you know... Jack's reading the newspaper, Abe's eating something and Parabellum is looking at the crumbs! I will see...

Otherwise, if you want to see my works, you can go ther: http://ludovic-art.blogspot.com/
But it has nothing to do with RJ. (Exept this one picture)
